1st shift and 2nd shift
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will consist of layout, fitting, and MIG welding of mild steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and tape measure. A weld test will be required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Preferred experience in metal fabrication and custom job shop experience.
Forklift and Overhead Crane experience a plus.
Flexible and ability to work in other related departments between jobs.
Welding hood and steel toe boots required.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Trade school experience, apprenticeship experience, or on-the-job experience in related field or industry.
Candidate should have two (2) years of consistent welding.
Experience in layout and blue print reading.
Self motivated employee who needs little supervision.
