    Job Title: Field Service Technician

     

    Department: Freeman Enclosure Systems

     

    Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly

     

    POSITION SUMMARY

     

    We are looking for an experienced Service Tech candidate who is willing to travel with the Field Service Departments. Willing to work flexible hours and travel from state to state for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. This person must have a valid Driver’s License, pass a Background check and drug screen.

     

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Have a mechanical background.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
    • Can handle site conditions/ use proper PPE.
    • Able to follow directions.
    • Safe work habits a must.
    • Works well with others/ customers.
    • Able to read electrical schematics.
    • Can read blue prints.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Troubleshoots our housing units at job sites.
    • Is willing to travel to the job site, in a safe and Quality manner complete tasks needed to get job done.
    • Using mechanical skills & Fabricator skills to assemble the Gen Set.
    • Willing to train on safety, welding, fabrication and electrical skills.
    • Basic knowledge of computer skills and able to email on a daily basis.
    • Willing to work well with others in a safe and proper manner.
    • Can follow any given direction by email, work order and/or over the phone.

     

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Best Candidate would have some Service technician background and OSHA 10

     

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Must have a valid Driver’s license and Pass a Background Check
    • Must have some mechanical, fabrication and electrical skills
    • Automotive painting experience is a plus
