Job Title:  Quality Assurance Inspector

                 2nd Shift

Department: Freeman Enclosure Systems


Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly





Freeman Enclosure Systems is searching for a Quality Inspector who can uphold the safety policies our company has created and oversee the production process to ensure that all products meet our high standard of quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection/testing on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specification are being met and company quality standards are followed.




  1. Perform inspection on the floor and where needed
  2. In-Process Inspection as called out in Standard Operating Procedures
  3. Final Inspection and release of product
  4. Control of gauges and all paperwork related to this
  5. Repair, replace, & calibration of tape measures and gauges as needed
  6. Tank testing to UL standards – Pressure and Vacuum testing/monitoring
  7. Assist in customer testing (sound, run, water, etc.) as needed
  8. Maintain inventory of Q.A. related work material (zip ties, tags, paperwork, etc.)
  9. Assist production with engineering/customer related issues or questions – Corrective Action process
  10. All other tasked assigned by Q.M. or designee




  1. Must possess excellent communication and listening skills
  2. Proven history of understanding safety standards and quality expectations.
  3. Understanding of welding and sheet metal preferred, but not required
  4. Able to work independently
  5. Attention to detail
  6. Visual Acuity
  7. Ability to work closely with a wide variety of personalities in a professional fashion.
